loved ones and friends in the September 11 tragedies last year
at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Pennsylvania plane crashes.

The need for help continues to grow. As the rubble is now cleared, the rebuilding process for
the survivors and their communities is just beginning. From medical and rehabilitation
needs to psychological assistance and financial support for the families of the victims,
the burdens on charitable organizations will be staggering.

American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

The American Red Cross is providing life saving assistance in the form of immediate
disaster mass care and blood to victims and emergency workers in New York, Washington, D.C.
and Pennsylvania following the incomprehensible attacks of September 11.
The Red Cross will stay with these people as this tragedy unfolds. The Red Cross has been
on the scene from the beginning providing disaster support in the form of food, shelter
and mental health counseling to all individuals affected.

The American Red Cross is not a government agency and all Red Cross disaster
assistance is free thanks to the generosity of people like you.
Ninety-one cents of every dollar spent by the American Red Cross goes directly to programs
and services that help people in need. To help the victims of these and other disasters
please support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.


We encourage you to donate whatever you can at this time, and in the future.






In the wake of September 11th's horrific terrorist attack that destroyed
New York City's World Trade Center, the Salvation Army's Greater New York Division
immediately mobilized all of its resources to assist in emergency response efforts.
The Salvation Army disaster relief teams across the country are also providing
lodging, meals and spiritual counseling to stranded travelers.

In this time of national tragedy, the Salvation Army is ready.

In the nation's most horrific tragedy ever, hundreds of courageous
firemen left their families and risked their lives to save others.
These firemen exhibited a courage that no one can ever imagine.
Many of these firemen have died in the tragedy, leaving behind families that are in need.
